Interesting version of computer realization of the mathematical game of 'Life' invented by British mathematician John Conway in 1970. This game is the best-known example of cellular automaton. Venue of the game - 'the universe' - is marked on the cell surface, unlimited, limited, or closed. John Conway's Game of Life The Game of Life is not your typical computer game. It is a cellular automaton, and was invented by Cambridge mathematician John Conway. This game became widely known when it was mentioned in an article published by Scientific American in 1970. It's what it says on the tin, Conway's Game Of Life done in 'garden' form. Done in a rush for Ludum Dare 46: Keep It Alive. Controls: Left mouse - plant and remove crops. R - Reset the stage. Goals: There is no 'win' state (though there's definitely a way to lose). Collect as many berries as you can while trying to avoid 'wasting' crops.
Re-compiling with a dictionary including - longer elbow ops - up to 7gp or 8gp, let's say - would allow - a much shorter recipe.Dave Greene, constructed 14 September 2013, edited 9 December 2013 - A JavaScript version of Conway's Game of Life, based on the Hashlife-algorithm.

Conways Garden Of Life (oakreef) Mac Os X
The Game of Life is not your typical computer game. It is a cellular automaton, and was invented by Cambridge mathematician John Conway.
This game became widely known when it was mentioned in an article published by Scientific American in 1970. It consists of a collection of cells which, based on a few mathematical rules, can live, die or multiply. Depending on the initial conditions, the cells form various patterns throughout the course of the game.
Rules
Conways Garden Of Life (oakreef) Mac Os Update
Each cell with one or no neighbors dies, as if by solitude.
Each cell with four or more neighbors dies, as if by overpopulation.
Each cell with two or three neighbors survives.
Each cell with two or three neighbors survives.
Each cell with three neighbors becomes populated.
The Controls
Choose a pattern from the lexicon or make one yourself by clicking on the cells. The 'Start' button advances the game by several generations (each new generation corresponding to one iteration of the rules).
More information
In the first video, from Stephen Hawkings' documentary The Meaning of Life, the rules are explained, in the second, John Conway himself talks about the Game of Life. Sky outbreak mac os.
